Today i would like to share the recipe of Nawabi Paneer which means Royal Cheese cubes gravy, it is easy and popular curry recipe from the mughlai cuisine made with paneer cubes, dry fruits and spices. the dish is famous for its creaminess and also for the Richness in Taste. There are thousands of Ways of making Gravy but it is my favourite and i cooked it occasionally as it takes more ingredients as compared to others. From kids to adults every one like it, It is served as main course during Lunch or Dinner with Indian Breads - Roti, paratha or Naan, can be paired up with jeera Rice. Try this recipe you are gonna like it for Sure.

Ingredients 📃

onion masala paste

• 1 roughly Chopped onion.
• 1 bunch of Fresh Coriander Leaves.
• 3-4 cloves garlic.
• 1 inch ginger.
• 2 pod cardamom.
• ½ inch cinnamon.
• 7-8 whole cashew.
• 6 Almond.
• 1 tbsp of cumin seeds.
• Pinch of asafoetida.
• 3-5 Whole Cloves.
• 3-5 Whole Black Pepper.
• ½ cup of Cream.

For Curry

• 1 tbsp butter.
• 2 tbsp oil.
• 1 bay leaf.
• ½ cup curd.
• 1 cup milk.
• 200 grms cube paneer
• 1 tbsp of Garam Masala.
• Pinch of Sugar.
• 1 tsp kasuri methi.
• Salt to taste.

Heat the oil in the kadai,then add cumin seeds and Asafoetida, saute it for a second.

then add t onion, garlic, ginger, cardamom, cashew and almond, saute it untill spices get aromatic.

then add roughly chopped green Coriander Leaves. Saute it for 3-4 minutes.

Switch off the flame, cools down to Room temperature, then transfer it to grinder then add fresh Cream. Grind it to make Smooth paste.

In the same kadai/pan heat 1 butter and oil, then now add prepared onion paste and stir well.

Now add garam masala, sugar, salt and Curd. Stir it well, so that everything get mix.

Add a cup of Milk,cook on medium flame, until the raw flavour disappears and oil separates from sides,stir adjusting consistency as required.

now add cube paneer, mix well.

simmer for 5 mintues or until the flavour absorb completely.

now add 1 tsp kasuri methi and mix well.

Finally served delicious & Creamy nawabi Paneer with your Favourite Indian breads - Naan, Roti or Paratha.
