Once upon a time,
there lived a woman.
Her name was Vivian
and she had a van.
Vivian toured many lands.
She saw many wonders.
She felt she missed something
until she owned a farm land.
Vivian was a good farmer.
Her plants knew her well.
She planted tree saplings all her life.
The people remembered her well.
I remember hearing a story about a man named Apple seed John during my childhood. He used to plant seeds wherever he went so that future generations would reap the benefits. My father used to talk about this American hero who is considered a legend. Somehow, this story became my favorite, and whenever I can, I try to plant seeds so that they grow and become useful to all.

We cannot become such legendary figures, but we can help with afforestation in our own way by planting seeds when the place and time are right. I mean, it is not useful to plant seeds during the harsh summer months because no one will be there to water. So, it is better to plant seeds when the rains come or in places where there will be irrigation.
I had mentioned in my previous post about buying seeds online. Seeds that are bought in such a manner should be planted on time, otherwise they will lose their ability to grow. Also, ensure that the soil you are using is rich in minerals and nutrients. If not, please use some organic manure and fertiliser. Closely monitor the saplings and make sure that the tiny leaves are not harmed by insects and other pests.
The above poem was just written for fun. I just wanted the message to get across in a fun way. For those who are reading this in a future time, this is just an attempt to coax people to keep farming and stop deforestation. A green planet is what we want for our future generations. I hope it will be possible.
