For week 414, I am bringing on summer a bit early with a exhibition of Golf Beers!
This pint of the week is again a nice beverage on the town out with the people! It pays to have clients who have draft taps as I can always wander in, shoot a couple social media pics for posts, then ask for a half pint! This one is a lager which normally should be less hazy but I am not picky. Clean and tasty and good company with Corry in the background working the bar.

@joanstewart and I were discussing the small number of sports where you can drink a beer while playing. Golf is DEFINTELY one of them which begs the question whether or not it is a real sport. I contend it is and we like to refer to a beer as a tin of swing oil just to keep it proper.
This one is a nice one as it is brewed right in the same small town that this golf course is in. Tesla's Revenge IPA is a nice and hoppy one I like to pick up whenever I see it. A little strong on the alcohol at 6.4% to have too many of them and expect to golf well but damn fine.
Another regional IPA was also available which is strange as golf courses usually predominantly serve boring light lagers and ales of little variety of taste. It is also one I have never sampled from a brewery I really like. Anderson Citra x Mosaic NEIPA is listed down in Anderson Craft Ales Small Batch Gallery as it is a one-off. I absolutely love me New England IPAs with Citra and Mosaic hops so much that is hw we brew them. Another Damn fine golf beer with some sweet, hoppy, dank and delicious.
I featured this one earlier this week in an @actifit golf adventure post. You can see the rain coming down in the background, on the can and on the hand of the holder. You may notice that it is a guest hand as mine is always in the left. A radler is probably more of an almost beer but I do love them for day drinkin'. Golf is definitely day drinkin' and a light, crisp and fruity 2.5% ABV refresher is just what the doctor ordered on the bakc 9 when the first 2 tins of swing oil and @davedickeyyall medication is threatening to throw your golf game off.
If we are talking Almost Beer, then this one might be considered Almost Golf. We are in the transition season where indoor golf is still available and the outdoor golf season is in full swing. An offseason keeping up the swing helped in some parts of the game but screws a little with your approach as it is all flat, no breeze or other outdoor distractions, and is still evveftively a video game. The good thing is that Birdie Juice IPA is a solid beverage and we get to play all the famous courses in the world from our small town.
