Nik Kershaw for #DanceWeekend - produced 1984 - for the ones that remember, enjoy - for the rest - listen and learn :-) - know you hate it @steevc @slobbershops but was my Brit music I enjoyed

Sort:

I read what Nik wanted to be taken seriously as a musician rather than just another pretty boy. I didn't think his pop stuff was that bad really. You might be surprised at how much pop I like :)

Thanks - just wrote about Robert Plant / Led Zeppelin and got into Brit mood - apart from the great rock stuff found other 80ies sounds I really love - need to be careful not to spam the chain :-).

(I might just have found Patsy attrative but the song is not bad for pop)

I will take a look at the Plant post as I am a big Zep fan. That other song veers too far into Europop for my tastes :P

Of course I also loved Kim Wilde, Talk Talk, early electronic stuff by Visage, Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Soft Cell, Shakin Stevens (haha)- Human League was aweseome (followed change of their producers - interesting switches)

Now I stop Britsounds
