🥩 Smoked Ham Carson's Q, 150g
🐷 Mojo Pork, 150g
🥒 Sliced Dill Pickles, 3 slices
🧀 Swiss Cheese, 2 slices
🍞 Homemade Pressed Cuban Bun, 1
🥛 Mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons
🥄 Carson's Gold Mustard, 1 tablespoon
🍲 Carson's Q Pit Beans with Bacon, 200g
🥤 Crush Grape Raisin Soda, 1 can 355ml
Instructions
1- Prepare the Cuban Bun:
- Slice the Cuban bun horizontally, keeping one edge intact to create a hinge.
2- Assemble the Sandwich:
- On the bottom half of the bun, layer the smoked ham, followed by the mojo pork.
- Add a layer of Swiss cheese over the meats.
- Evenly distribute sliced dill pickles on top of the cheese.
- Spread a generous amount of mayonnaise on the inside of the top half of the bun.
- Drizzle Carson's Gold mustard over the mayonnaise and close the sandwich.
3- Press and Cook the Sandwich:
- Preheat a panini press or grill such as a George Foreman Grill until hot.
- Place the assembled sandwich on the grill and press down firmly.
- Grill until the cheese melts and the bread turns golden brown with distinct grill marks, about 4-5 minutes.
4- Prepare the Pit Beans:
- Heat Carson's Q Pit Beans according to the package instructions until piping hot.
5- Serve:
- Serve the sandwich hot, immediately after grilling.
- Accompany with a side of pit beans.
