Bought some vegetable seeds

in #vegetables3 days ago

I bought some seeds for my little gardening project this year. I plan to plant some vegetables in my garden this year and therefore I bought some seeds that I will plant in my garden. I hope I can bring some of them to sprout and grow full size to be edible. Last year I have already started to make some compost and now I will try to use it as a soil and sprouting ground for my vegetables.

Growing your own vegetables in the garden is something very satisfying and I am looking forward to my harvest.

Cool! I've just started to seeding some crops again. Do you also seed them indoors first before you plant them outside?
Did you know there is a Hivegarden community where you can share these posts?

Oh thank you to remind me about the hivegarden community. I might share my progress there, and I also need to take a look what others are planting or recommending. Is it a good idea to start indoors? I waited till now with the planting so I can put them outdoor since I hope it is not freezing anymore.

You cab get some positive feedack and tips in the Hivegarden community, which is nice.
I'm just an amateur gardener myself. There is still a change of frost here, but they grow out quicker indoors where it's always on room temperature.
When they have a couple of leaves, they go outside. But you do have to bring them outside carefully so they get used to the colder and more windy conditions.

Here are my first cucumber seeds that have germinated.
