RE: Spring and Grönsakskaka

Get yourself a pair of Brooks! Every single pair I owned has been really solid, can definitely take 15k steps per day for years.
Potato, vegetable and cheese sounds like a winning combo to me, though I have not been to Ikea in years... My wife is not into paying for furniture, we have some decades old comfortable furniture in our main home and for our vacation homes we bought them with furniture in them. The last one had over 100K worth of furniture (Which I have not ever paid 20K+ for a single couch before). We got it thrown in for free so I didn't complain :)

Three brands came up consistently as the best as I was doing my research—Brooks, New Balance, and Hoka. I don't have any experience with any of them so I went with the cheapest option. I'll try Brooks after these New Balance wear out. If they're lasting years they'll definitely be worth paying a bit more.

Yeah man! You could pair pretty much any protein with these potato cakes and have an instant meal.

$100k of furniture! Wow. I can't believe how expensive even disposable things are now. We paid $5k for a couch and chair when we moved into our last condo in 2018 and it was all broken down and worn out by the time we moved in here in the autumn of 2024. I was astounded by how much more furniture costs now but it's less expensive to buy quality in the long run. That was a huge bonus for you to get all that thrown into the deal.

Yeah, not having to deliver a bunch of furniture to the island was a huge deal. And it was fully furnished from https://www.roche-bobois.com and similar high end brands, some of which I never even heard of before LOL.
