As the ending of winter approaches and the beauty of green leaves peek through. A sense of farewell is in order. One of my favourite ways to say goodbye to each season is through food and more importantly through the seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Sun-kissed Roasted Butternut salaad
- Butternut (steamed and cut)
- Cream cheese
- White or red onion
- Olive oil
- Everything bagel spice
- Salt
- Pepper
- Herbs(I like origanum and thyme)
- Za'taar
- Roll the cream cheese in balls and coat in za'taar
- Roast butternut and onion in the spices
- Put everything in a dish and you can garnish with herbs (I used spring onion)
