Life isn’t always as easy as we’d like it to be. Some days feel heavier than others, like everything is just slowly stacking up. But then there are those moments, the simple ones, that remind you to pause and just enjoy where you are.
For me, that’s good food. And not just any food… Korean pork belly BBQ.
There’s something about sitting down, watching the meat slowly cook, hearing that sizzle, and knowing what’s coming. I always go for the thicker cuts. They take a bit longer, but that’s part of the experience. You get that perfect crust on the outside while the inside stays soft and juicy.
And honestly, that extra wait just makes the first bite even better.
Sometimes, it really is the simple things that turn your whole day around.
