Chopsuey, An Easy to Cook and Healthy Dinner

Good day Hivers! I hope you're doing well today. I am sharing to you my recent dish for our dinner. It is chopsuey dish. It is made of vegetables like cabbage, carrot, string beans, a piece and sliced onion and garlic, sayote, and I also add some small slices of chicken meat.

It is very common dish and healthy dish in my country, the Philippines. It is easily cooked by starting from saute onion and garlic in a tablespoon of oil. Then followed by the sliced chicken meat. Once, the chicken meat is cooked to golden brown, you can pour now to the pan the vegetables: sliced cabbage, carrots, string beans, and sayote. Then once it is already sautéed, you can add some seasoning like 1/4 teaspoon of salt, a pinch of Ajinomoto or Vetsin, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce and a pinch of cracked pepper. After that you can add 1/2 cup of water. Then wait for it to boil in medium heat. After it boils, you can add half cup of cornstarch dissolved in water then pour it in the pan. You can mix it then wait for it to boil for 2-3 more minutes. And now it ready to served!
