Have you ever thought of just packing up what you have, selling up and moving countries, that's exactly how I feel living in the UK. Kier Starmer did say if we don't like it the door is open and your free to leave, If only it was that easy. I'm fed up with how things are going, this country is sinking fast if we don't do something about it and fast. The Government we have obviously don't like the UK as they are killing it one law at a time. I've never hated anyone as much as I hate him, he hasnt a clue what he's doing or this is all planned. I don't understand why he is still our Prime Minister after everything he has done, his big fat lie with Donald Trump showed the world what a horrible person he is, we have no free speech in this country anymore, he has made sure of that.
I've got to get him out of my head 😡.
Today has been a cold day, everyday seems to be getting colder or maybe it's just me as I haven't felt the cold in years with going through the Menopause. Now I'm sitting wrapped up like a cocoon. Wouldn't be too bad if I could put the heating on for half an hour but can't afford to take out another mortgage so until the energy bills come down looks like I'm wrapping up layer upon layer until Summer.
One thing that has cheered me up is hubbys cooking, now I can't do as much he has taken over. He always loved cooking, think he would have been a good chef if he didn't take up bricklaying. He loves to get busy in the kitchen making a curry, Mince & Dumplings or cottage pie, his talents are growing. Today he made himself a Cottage pie pius plus a vegetarian one for me and my daughter.

He was really chuffed with himself as it was presented well before and after cooking. It was delicious, filled us up and warmed us up plus he has a portion for tomorrow. I think I have taught him well, he always asks for my input but doesn't always follow as he has his own ideas. The only thing he has a problem with is making dumplings, I've shown him loads of times I don't think it's the making part just don't think he wants to get his hands in even though I have bought gloves so my hands don't get stuck up with dumpling mix.
He is definitely getting more confident in the Kitchen, he now has a cupboard with all the herbs, spices and cooking ingredients he likes to use. When we are out food shopping he's always looking at the ingredients for something new. I've bought him cookery books to follow but he can't get away with them he likes to do his own thing. He's not keen on making puddings, he makes the main meal and I do the puddings. I'm making Rice pudding tomorrow, something hot and comforting. That will warm me up.
Off to bed now and hopefully Kier Starmer stays out of my dreams/ nightmares.
Thank you for visiting 💟💟
