What I Love Doing and Why It Means So Much to Me.

I believe we all have those little things that bring us joy and make us feel better, especially on days when life just feels a bit overwhelming. For me, there are a few things that always lift my mood and remind me of who I am — things I enjoy not just for fun, but because they genuinely make me happy and help me feel like myself again.

The first one on my list is dancing.

I have loved dancing since my secondary school days. Back then, I used to dance a lot in front of my friends — especially the boys. Even though I was a bit shy and never had the confidence to dance in front of a big crowd, I still loved moving to the rhythm of any song that had a good beat. There’s something about the rhythm and energy in music that just gets to me. Sometimes, I’d just be sitting somewhere, and once a good song comes on, my body will automatically start responding — nodding, moving, even if it’s just a little shake. That’s how much I enjoy it.

Even up till now, dancing is still something I find joy in. i can comfortably dance in front of a crowd, and i have literally danced in many social activities currently in school.

But then I don’t even need to be at a party or in front of people — sometimes it’s just me and my music in my room, and that’s enough. I might not be the best dancer in the world, but my friends can definitely confirm that I love to dance — and to be honest, I’m actually better than most of them 😅. Dancing helps me relax, clears my mind, and gives me a certain kind of joy I can’t really explain. It’s one of those things I hope I never stop enjoying.

Another thing I really enjoy doing is playing football.

Football has always been something that brings me happiness and excitement. I mostly play in the defence, and I genuinely enjoy the role. I love making tackles, intercepting passes, and preventing attackers from scoring. That moment when you stop a dangerous move or win back the ball — it’s a great feeling. I’m also quite competitive, so I don’t like losing. I usually put in my best every time I play because I just love the game. It brings out my energy, my focus, and my desire to win.

Just yesterday, I played with my mates, and they were literally cheering me on. That made me feel really good — not just because I played well, but because I could see that people noticed my effort and passion. It’s moments like that that make football more than just a game for me, and it's something that helps me feel confident and proud of myself.

And lastly, I’ll be honest — I really love eating.

I’m definitely a foodie. I enjoy eating, trying different kinds of meals, and just satisfying my cravings. Unfortunately, I don’t always get to eat everything I want because of how my pocket is sometimes. There are days when I’m craving something specific — maybe chicken and chips or a nice bowl of jollof rice — but I just don’t have enough money to get it. And yeah, that can really affect my mood. But whenever I do have the money, I don’t hold back. I love variety when it comes to food, and at the moment, my best meal combo is spaghetti, egg, and chicken. That combo always makes my day better.

So yeah, dancing, football, and food — these are the simple things that i love doing. They help me stay grounded, lift my mood, and give me something to smile about no matter what’s going on around me.

Thanks for reading.

Without food, it will be difficult to play football or dance. I love to see good dancers. These days, dancing has become a career. In the 21st century, people even go to higher institution to learn dancing.

I remember some years ago, Kaffy the dancer won a Guinness book of records for the longest dance. Then come Poco Lee who has created a niche for himself through dancing.

Don't let go of your dream. Pursuit it to a logical end.

Well done!

I absolutely love dancing and just having fun and that's why i don't like people that love taking too serious at times. I am not even trying to become a professional at dancing but then who knows what might happen. Thanks for stopping by.
