Hello. Testing 1 2 3... Is this how you post? It has been so long I have forgotten just about how to work this here site. Of course it hasn't been THAT long, but the way my brain gets caught up with the minutiae of the day, it doesn't take much to cause me to forget any and everything.

I am posting this picture of grills lined outside of a Lowes in Rocky Mount VA to illustrate the difference between there and Michigan. Here in Michigan the local Lowes will have heavy duty snow blowers and electric generators on display! Yes Spring does come early in Virginia. BTW Rocky Mount is a cool town. I am not sure if it is a small, big town or a big, small town, but what I do know is they have a Lowes and a Walmart but with a small town feel! From where I will be, if I cant get some thing in town or in Burnt Chimney, I can hit Rocky Mount instead of going on to Roanoke.

I am watching for some sales on a wood chipper. I am really needing one. In fact you can rest assured most upvotes I earn in the immediate future will likely be going towards one of these bad boys! I got a lot of trees and brush to clear!
Now as far as lodging while I am in Virginia, I have been staying at the Quality Inn. For around 50 bucks a night (AARP discount included), it is a decent deal. They dont have a pool as far as I know, but they have a 5 star HUGE parking lot that is idea for my truck and trailer. No the Quality Inn is not too fancy, basically a bed and a Bible kind of a place, but that suits us just fine as I would rather not pay for a bunch of frills.

Of course not paying for needless frills does allow us to put a few bucks into the provisions. This time dinner consisted of pastrami, salami, naan bread, pepper jack cheese cubes and chips and such. We even kept it under 80 bucks for a change!!!

Being that diesel is sky high thanks to Putin, I thought I best save the money and eat the free breakfast included with the room.

With diesel running around 4.50, I just could not justify getting the King cake a Kroger.
I always like to thank @dswigle for taking the time to make Market Friday a fun event every single week!

Oh I would be remiss if I forgot to mention that the trees are starting to bud!

Plus some daffodils are starting to bloom!

This is the after 12 hours on the road me wolfing down a frozen eggroll.

I had to pull the bench into the shade so my big helper could cool off. It was feeling way more than 70 in that Southern sun!
