A Superette is a term I've not heard outside of New Zealand, but I love it, it's like a small supermarket, but then also does a fair amount of ready to eat food, it's more useful than a convenance store. This Only looks like one, it actually isn't one. In fact this a burger/amercian food joint painted to look like a 1980's Superette, hence the prices painted on the front, it's unlikely that everything is $2 and that a 'Loosie' would be 25 cents or indeed free. For those playing a home a 'Loosie' is a single cigarette. back in the day more dodgy places would sell single cigarettes to people, generally teenagers.
This shot is less chaotic, it was more about the fact that I liked the shiny new whiteness of the curved office building next to the dirty brutlist nature of the building in the foreground.
