Good morning on a bright holiday, friends
Today I woke up a little later than usual because my favorite cat came to wake me up with a pleading voice. When I woke up, I enthusiastically prepared to exercise according to my daily routine. But then my expectations were crushed when I stepped into the bathroom and found that… the water was no longer running.
It is still a water crisis on a holiday morning. And today seems to be a day that the world must truly record because it is not only the water that is not running at my house, but all my neighbors in the village are experiencing the same problem. I don't know what to do with this situation. The first thought that came to mind was that if there is still no water, I will definitely have to take my mother to take a shower at the garden house. In order not to waste time, I decided to solve the immediate problem by driving my favorite tricycle straight to the garden house and ordering a bucket of water to temporarily use in the morning, whether it is washing my face, brushing my teeth or going to the bathroom. After taking care of the emergency water, it was time to prepare to put on socks and shoes to exercise on the village road as usual.
When my feet touched the road, I started walking to exercise, alternating with jogging, and gradually increasing my speed. While running, my thoughts kept circling around the problem of water and the unfinished housework. Now it has become a pile of mud on the pig's tail. With the clothes that haven't been washed and the dishes that have been piled up for two whole days, I don't want to think about what the house will look like.
But I didn't let my worries take over me. I took a deep breath and slowly exhaled to release the roughness of my thoughts. Then I set my mind to continue jogging this morning. I ran to the area behind the temple in the village, then circled back on the same road again and continued to the road along the canal by the footpath of the Trang River. I ran around like this for about 3-4 rounds.
The quiet morning atmosphere and the energy I received
Today, the morning atmosphere was especially quiet. There were only the sounds of nature, the chirping of birds, and the gentle wind, which helped me to recharge my energy for exercising. Today, I was covered in sweat like every other day, until my clothes were soaked. But the sweat that flowed out made my body feel surprisingly refreshed and energetic. After finishing exercising, I hurried back to the white house to take care of some unfinished housework. Even though it was a small task, it was better than doing nothing.
When I arrived at the white house, I started by taking care of the pets. I started by removing the bird cage from the house, then feeding them, and didn't forget to feed the lovely cat that woke me up this morning.
Then I walked straight into the kitchen. Start grinding fragrant coffee beans and brew a cup of coffee for myself and another for my husband. My daughter is still sleeping soundly in the room. My husband and I sit and relax at the kitchen table, sipping coffee, talking about various things happily. After finishing the coffee, I get up and go to deal with the dishes that have been left in the sink for two whole days, which took quite a while.
When I do housework, I don't carry my phone with me like when I exercise. My phone is placed in front of the house. After I'm done exercising, I have to drive to get water from the garden again so that my mother can take a shower this morning. Today is a really busy and difficult day. But it's another day that teaches us that even when we encounter unexpected obstacles, we can still get through it with good spirits.
When water is life: Smiles from the Na Taluang Subdistrict Administrative Organization
The water shortage crisis, the village is facing a serious water shortage. Hope is fading. But then, unexpectedly, a light appeared. My husband met a close friend who happened to drive a water truck for the Na Taluang Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang Trang District, Trang Province.
In times of crisis like this, it is a great fortune for the Subdistrict Administrative Organization to have water to distribute to the people in the village. And that fortune also came to our family when my husband's friend did not hesitate to lend a helping hand. He transported clean water to our house, dragged a long hose, and filled our water tank until it was full. Every drop of water that flowed from the hose was not just ordinary water, but a thread of hope that sustained our lives during a difficult day.
On behalf of the people who received assistance, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Na Ta Luang Subdistrict Administrative Organization for understanding the people's feelings in times of hardship and providing assistance quickly and sincerely. Such actions not only alleviated immediate suffering, but also deeply impressed and moved the hearts of all of us.
This assistance is clear proof that the Na Ta Luang Subdistrict Administrative Organization is not just a government agency, but is someone who is ready to stand by the people in every situation. Thank you again for your kindness and concern when we needed it the most.
Travel to Baan Suan
I drove my favorite tricycle to "Baan Suan", a place of happiness for all the animals that I love and take care of. There were smart parrots, Sulcata tortoises, as well as ducks, chickens, and geese that chirped and waited for me to come.
When I arrived, the first thing I did was to clean the area around the house. I collected all the trash and dirt meticulously. Then it was time to use the water from the pond, which is clean and clear natural water, to thoroughly clean the floor and surrounding area. Seeing the clean area made me feel refreshed and ready for the next mission.
After cleaning, it was time for the most important thing: feeding the members of the center. Starting with my favorite parrots that greeted me cheerfully. I carefully fed them pellets and fruits that they loved, followed by the big Sulcata tortoises that slowly crawled in and eagerly waited to eat fresh vegetables. And of course, the chickens, ducks, and geese that all rushed in and chirped excitedly when I scattered rice seeds and pellets. Seeing them eat their fill and happily made me feel indescribably happy.
Today was a busy day but full of happiness and good energy after completing all the missions. I also rode my favorite tricycle back to the "White House" with a smile. The role of taking care of these pets taught me responsibility, compassion, and the joy of giving.
I know that today is a long time since I took care of my animal friends, exercised, and lived my life. But I still spent the rest of the day writing this article to share my stories and experiences with my friends. I hope that my little stories each day will inspire or bring a smile to everyone.
For today, I have to say goodbye. See you again in the next article. ☀️❤️🥰🙏
