When we lived in Colorado, they had a slang term for “tourist”…… they called them “ terrorist” it’s a different world now you couldn’t get away saying something like that!🙄😳
It was just because people got so tired of the tourist and wanted them to go home…..😇

i saw recent pictures of a historical spot in kyoto, and it only highlighted how much touristed the area got.
i doubt if i will still enjoy it now.
I know tourists are excited to see everything that’s good!
It can be a bit overwhelming sometimes for locals 😇
