it was another hot day, very good for walking. but the forecast did mention that rain is to be expected that night.
so how am i to proceed?
let us take one step at a time, starting with lunch.
we had lunch at a malatan restaurant. malatan is a chinese cooking style where ingredients were stir fried with a spicy sauce. in japan, malatan shops will usually ask the customers to choose ingredients and add in a container were it will be weighed and paid according to weight. the variant i had was the non-soup style, 400 grams at 1600 yen. they will add in some rice noodles when cooking.
i was glad to choose the mild spice, this was already hard to handle. i couldn't imagine how spicy the other levels would be. i was very satisfied.
but look at that heat. it was melting hot. even with the umbrellas, i think i got sunburnt.
i would have loved to have longer walks today but my body somehow said no. laziness struck! and what do you do when that happens? i slept. i guess my body knew that i will be in office tomorrow, and more energy will be required in that for sure. my body have predicted how tired i will be the next day. so i rested.
rested until night when the housemate brought up that it was "leg day". oh no! i sluggishly dragged myself to the gym. i would have wanted a resched, but i guess doing it on a sunday would be the best option. my legs would have fully recovered by this saturday's hike. my only problem would be that gym days usually end late, and i still have to have a shower for tomorrow. yes, i have sadly adapted night showering. i will probably do this until august. going to the office would mean waking up earlier for preparation and i could no longer have more time for shower in the day.
anyways, here is the leg day routine.
pull ups (10 x 12)
squats (75kg x 3 x 12) 70
dead lift (60kg x 3 x 12)
leg extensions (59kg x 4 x 10)
leg press (145kg x 3 x 12)
leg curls (36kg x 4 x 10)
