Hi guys! How are you all? I hope you’re doing well. Today I’ve come to share another fun recipe with you all. Today I made chicken tandoori. Let’s share the step-by-step recipe with you.

Ingredients (Chicken tandur)🍗🫓:
1.Chicken – 500 grams (cut into medium pieces)
2.Yogurt (curd) – ½ cup
3.Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
4.Ginger paste – 1 tablespoon
5.Garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
6.Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
7.Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
8.Garam masala – 1 teaspoon
9.Cumin powder – ½ teaspoon
10.Coriander powder – ½ teaspoon
11.Salt – as needed
12.Cooking oil or butter – 2 tablespoons
13.Red food color (optional) – a pinch.
Making process:
Step 1: Clean and prepare the chicken
Wash the chicken pieces well and make small cuts on them so the spices can soak in nicely.
Step 2: Make the marinade
In a bowl, add yogurt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and a little oil. Mix everything well.
Step 3: Marinate the chicken
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix them properly so each piece is coated well.
Cover the bowl and keep it in the fridge for at least 2–3 hours (or overnight for the best flavor).
Step 4: Cook the chicken
You can cook it in any of these ways:
Oven: Preheat to 200°C and bake for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway.
Pan: Heat oil or butter and fry on low flame until both sides are golden and cooked through.
Grill: Grill the chicken on medium heat, brushing butter occasionally for smoky flavor.
Step 5: Serve
Once done, serve your delicious Chicken Tandoori hot with onion slices, lemon wedges, and mint chutney.
