RE: How do you prefer to drink your milk? (Mini comment contest # 11)

in Amazing Drinks6 days ago (edited)

THIS IS MY PARTICIPATION IN THE MINI CONTEST

Milk is a sign of love, as it is the first food to reach our lips, given by the one who loves us most: our mother. I had the strange luck of being born with an intolerance to fresh milk, forcing me to overcome many obstacles until I became immune. Today, I enjoy it again in my diet, as a symbol of that sacred nourishment. I prefer it in the mornings, piping hot, mixed with black coffee. I add just the right amount of sugar and stir it ten times before the first sip. There’s no sunrise without my milk and coffee; I even believe happiness includes it in its magical recipe.

"I’d like to invite @marpasifico to tell us how they prefer their milk."

No doubt that must be in the recipe for happiness, hahahahaha.

Greetings 🙏

Thanks for your participation @neuropoeta

¡Un atardecer disfrutando de una jarra de leche con café es fenomenal!

Hi @neuropoeta

I'm glad you were able to overcome your milk intolerance and that you can now enjoy it every day, with the beautiful ritual you share with us. And yes, all foods are sacred, but this one even more so, because it comes from a mother (in this case, an animal). And if we're talking about plant-based milks, then we're taking the soul of the grain, the cereal, the food with which we prepare it.

Thank you so much for your participation.

Cheers!

I loved it, your phrase: "milk is a symbol of love". You describe it perfectly.

I'm glad you can enjoy it again and include it in your diet.

Igualmente querida ese café con leche que nos caracteriza como venezolanos. Saludos
