Whenever I get the chance to give myself some nice treats, I don't let it slip by without grabbing it. Hehehe.
I've been craving smoothie for a while now so today I decided to treat myself to some tasty smoothie. More so, I've been experiencing muscle weakness, fatigue and low energy of recent, and these I found out to be some common symptoms of protein deficiency.
With this discovery, I decided to increase my intake of protein-rich foods and drinks. That's why I had to make this protein-rich smoothie, ensuring I'd get the nutrients I needed. I'm very intentional about my health and general well-being, and I always prioritize it above other things. "My good health is my wealth."
In making the smoothie, here are the ingredients used;
- 200g Watermelon.
- 3 fingers of Banana.
- 1 sizeable Avocado.
- 20cl Wheat flavored milk drink.
- Groundnuts.
Let's prepare the smoothie.
Wash all fruits, peel and cut in small sizes.
First blend the groundnuts until smooth.
Add the fruits, starting with the watermelon, avocado and banana.
- Lastly, add the milk.
- Blend all until smooth.
- Your protein-rich smoothie is ready. Serve chilled and enjoy. Yum. 😋
You can preserve the leftover in a bottle and keep it in the refrigerator.
As we know, smoothies can serve as quick meal or snack. They're nutritious and can be made with a mix of fruits, vegetables, proteins, etc., to suit different taste buds and dietary needs.
This protein-based smoothie is a good mix of these essential nutrients;
Vitamins (C, E) and minerals (potassium) contained in all the ingredients.
Protein from the wheat flavored milk drink and groundnuts.
Fiber from the banana, avocado, and the wheat milk.
Antioxidants from watermelon and avocado.
Finally, it's a perfect drink to keep the body hydrated.
As I relished every sip of the smoothie, I could feel my body being energized and revitalized. The smoothie really hit the right spots. 😅

Hmmmmmmmm. This is a high protein smoothie oooh.
