Hello amazing drink lovers. I trust the week is shaping up well and you're doing great. I appreciate the support and engagement from you all. Thank you.
I'm glad to be here again to let you on this wholesome fruit drink I made sometime ago. I like fruits a lot, but I'm loving fruit drinks the more, especially the type made with varieties of fruits like this one I made. Simply natural, healthy and tasty. 😂
So I had some leftover bananas which had gotten a little overripe and soft that I couldn't eat them that way again. So I decided to combine them with other fruits to make fruit drink.
These fruits, when combined provide a wide range of vitamins and minerals, plus potassium, magnesium, and antioxidants properties, ensuring the body gets the much needed nutrient boost.
Not only that, combining these fruits is another great way to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your diet. Moreover, they're natural fruit drinks, healthy and refreshing too.
Fruits Used
- 30g watermelon.
- 1 medium sized cucumber.
- 3 bananas.
- Carrots.
- 15cl water. Alternatively, you can use ice cubes for a chilled result.
Process
Begin by washing the ingredients properly. For the carrots, I love scrapping the back to remove every hidden dirt.
Next, cut the fruits into small sizes for easy blending. I like de-seeding the watermelon and cucumbers.
Outcome
- That done, pour the fruits into the blender, add water or the ice and allow to blend for some minutes, until smooth.
- Finally serve and enjoy. You can preserve leftovers in the refrigerator.
I savored the natural taste of each fruit in every sip, and I loved it. Yum. 😋
In fact, the outcome was just as I expected - deliciously tasty, refreshing and energizing too. It served as my breakfast and I couldn't have felt more energized and alive after taking it.
You can either enjoy your fruity drink just like I did or serve it alongside any meal or snack of choice. It is good for everyone, old and young alike.
That's a wrap. I hope you like this recipe and would try it out. Please let me know. Thank you.
