Oh, how naive I was when I thought that life is better in a bigger city than in my small hometown... Also, when I was a kid, my parents didn't have enough money to take us to the seaside every year, unlike most of my friends... Maybe because of that, when I got older, I moved to the town by the sea... Lived there for around a decade and moved inland...
Today, I'm not "dreaming" about the sea anymore, but rather about those mountain views you shared in your post... Having a small house in the mountains, growing your food, sounds like a perfect way of living! Kudos to your brother!
