Hello everyone, it's me again, sharing my life in the Philippines!
As you know, I am currently living here in Manila (Quezon City), and the truth is, life in Manila is really not easy. Everything is so expensive! I already wrote about my plan to rent out the second floor of my house, but the sad thing is I got cheated by the first team of workers! At the beginning of March, before the weekend they asked for some money in advance and to buy the windows to insert the following week, but after that they didn't appear anymore. Sometimes I am just too soft. The lesson I learned is not to trust people too easily. At least I found new workers, and so far they are doing very well, and hopefully the works will be finished soon.
Despite all the challenges, I keep pushing forward... Until all is done, I can't just sit around doing nothing, and I try to promote my book - "The journey of Life" - on different platforms (currently my X account is growing rather fast), hoping to find the right readers. This April has started well, and I sold two paperback copies.
I am also busy making some kakanin (snacks) to sell. This is my first time making Biko since I have been here in the Philippines. I am selling it at 25 pesos per pack. Since the store in my own house is not yet done, I decided to let the store sell it on my behalf. I give them the pack for 20 pesos, and they sell it for 25, so they make 5 pesos per pack—not bad, right?
I hope the pics below make you crave some, too! And take note, this is also good with your morning coffee, and even in the afternoon! You know what? This is the kind of business I really want to pursue in the future.
And of course, I accept orders, hehe.
Thank you, folks! Enjoy your day!
