Hi bloggers and community members, how are you all doing? I hope you’re having a great day. It’s been getting really cold lately after the hot weather we’ve had over the past few days—it finally rained and soaked the ground. So, today I decided to enjoy some pizza and waffles at a cozy, warm café called The Links.

The place isn’t very big, but it has two floors. We chose the second floor to relax and eat. The café wasn’t too crowded today since it’s a weekday. We ordered a slice of pizza, a bowl of black pepper chicken rice, fried tempeh, and a sweet waffle.
Black Pepper Chicken Rice and Fried Tempeh

The black pepper chicken rice had a simple presentation, topped with a fried egg and served with cucumber slices on the side—it turned out to be delicious and comforting. The black pepper chicken, with its fragrant aroma and savory, slightly spicy flavor, was quite filling as a starter for dinner.

As a side, I also ordered fried tempeh, a fried dish commonly found in my area. This fermented food, simply fried in batter, has been a favorite of mine for a long time.
Mini Chicken and Mushroom Pizza

This dish is a sharing platter we ordered for dinner tonight. Its modest size makes it perfect for enjoying while relaxing like this. The pizza crust isn’t too thick and the edges are crunchy; the toppings—tomato sauce, chicken pieces, mushrooms, and cheese—make this pizza taste quite special.
Waffle with Ice Cream

Tonight’s dessert is a plate of sweet, fragrant waffles topped with ice cream, caramel sauce, and chopped nuts. It’s the perfect combination for a dessert. The soft waffles paired with the ice cream create a delightful taste.
Alright, that’s all for today. Enjoy your day, everyone
