Hoy les contaré lo que fueron las primeras clases de esta semana en el centro artístico, y es que nos tocaba dar dos clases, crochet y pintura.
Ya falta poco para que se termine el año pero yo sigo dando clases pues debemos terminar de prepararnos para la galería y como buena emprendedora, asegurar las mensualidades del mes de diciembre y enero, es por eso que decidí continuar las clases hasta mediados del mes, permitiendo acumular días claves para cumplir estos objetivos.
Yo estoy súper feliz de seguir viendo a mis alumnos y que ellos conserven ese entusiasmo por asistir, pues esto me comprueba que vamos por buen camino.
Estos días me toca irme un poco más temprano de casa, por lo que desperté, organicé todo y armé el almuerzo para poder salir a tiempo ya que como he mencionado, me demoro poco más de una hora en llegar al local.
Hi everyone!
Today I'll tell you about the first classes of the week at the art center. We had two classes: crochet and painting.
The year is almost over, but I'm still teaching because we need to finish preparing for the gallery, and as a good entrepreneur, I need to secure the December and January tuition payments. That's why I decided to continue classes until the middle of the month, allowing us to accumulate key days to meet these goals.
I'm so happy to continue seeing my students and that they maintain their enthusiasm for attending, because it confirms that we're on the right track.
These days I have to leave home a little earlier, so I woke up, organized everything, and packed lunch so I could leave on time, since, as I mentioned, it takes me a little over an hour to get to the studio.
Ese día el clima estaba algo extraño, por mi casa estaba lloviznando y no tenía ni idea de como estaba para Cabimas, esto solo lo puedo comprobar yendo porque no tengo quien me informe de esto.
Así que con mi paraguas salí de casa y bueno, habían muchas nubes pero nada grave, en el camino había sol y eso me tranquilizó, pero cuando iba a la mitad nos topamos con lluvia.
El carro donde iba tenía los vidrios abajo y no tenía manillas por lo que me tocó mojarme un rato, hasta que por fin pasamos la zona donde estaba lloviendo.
That day the weather was a bit strange. It was drizzling near my house, and I had no idea what the weather was like in Cabimas. I could only find out by going there since I didn't have anyone to tell me.
So, with my umbrella, I left home. There were a lot of clouds, but nothing serious. The sun was shining on the way, which reassured me, but when I was halfway there, we ran into a downpour.
The car I was in had the windows down and no door handles, so I got soaked for a while until we finally passed the area where it was raining.
Cuando llegue al centro adivinen, no estaba lloviendo y el sol estaba súper fuerte. Jajaja definitivamente el clima ha estado bien loco las últimas semanas.
Ya teniendo esto claro me relajé porque sabía que los alumnos si asistirían.
When I arrived at the center, guess what? It wasn't raining, and the sun was blazing! Haha, the weather has definitely been crazy these past few weeks.
Knowing this, I relaxed because I knew the students would be there.
Ese día fue que entregué las bambalinas, así que aproveché de tomarles unas fotos antes de que fueran por ellas y me dediqué a arreglar toda la mesa que estaba desordenada desde la semana anterior.
Para este día con las alumnas de crochet nos dedicamos a hacer grannys square, que son cuadritos tejidos.
La idea era hacer unos 3 diseños diferentes pero la verdad es que con el primero demoraron más de lo esperado.
That was the day I handed out the backdrops, so I took the opportunity to snap some photos before they were picked up and then tidy up the table, which had been a mess since the previous week.
That day, the crochet students and I made granny squares.
The idea was to make about three different designs, but the first one took longer than expected.
Ambas alumnas lograron terminar sus tejidos y comenzar con otro, así se fueron contentas a casa, con conocimiento nuevo listo para ser aplicado en otros proyectos.
Both students managed to finish their weaving projects and start another one, so they went home happy, with new knowledge ready to be applied in other projects.
Con las chicas de pinturas estuvimos haciendo la primera parte de las casitas navideñas, con ellas haremos una aldea navideña en una de nuestras paredes.
Cada una iba a hacer lo que deseaba en el interior de su casita, pero obviamente necesitaba un poco de ideas, así que luego de algunas imágenes que les enseñé ellas se pusieron manos a la obra.
Con esto finalizamos la clase del día.
With the painting class, we worked on the first part of the Christmas houses. We'll be creating a Christmas village on one of our walls.
Each girl was going to decorate the inside of her house however she wanted, but obviously, she needed some ideas. So, after I showed them some pictures, they got to work.
That concluded today's class.
Al salir a esperar transporte vi que en la parada habían unos números enormes que decían 2026 y me sorprendió pues esta clase de decoraciones solo las había visto en las grandes ciudades del país. Al parecer este año tienen pensado algo grande.
Ya con esto concluyó mi jornada del día, gracias amigos por acompañarme en una aventura más.
