This new topic interests me so much that I have decided to jump on it, not because I am a full-time midnight owl, but because I stay up five to six times a week before finally going to bed.
Yeah! When it comes to midnight snacks, and when everything has gone silent, the doctor will say it is not good to eat late at night, but come on, Mr. Doctor, that is not possible because where will I put all these snacks when I hear that voice in my head, Dave? It's just a snack, not something heavy.
Anyway, I have different varieties of snacks that I usually eat depending on my mood, but my go-to is always bread. Yeah, yeah, some might say it is not a snack, but in my own dictionary, I consider it a snack if I do not eat plenty of it, just a few bites, and for me, bread is always around me because I consider it so satisfying and comforting. Do not get me wrong, I am not talking about the overhyped bread that some of you usually eat; what I am talking about is that soft, white, succulent bread, yeah! That regular bread we see on the street for around #1500 to #2000.
Sometimes, I take it with Nutella if I have it available; sometimes, I use Bama or peanut, as the case may be. In some instances too, I brew my 3-in-1 Nescafé, not too hot and not too warm, just normal temperature, just to keep my mood high and chill away.
Even though it is advisable not to eat at midnight, there is something I always find soothing about it. I love the quietness and the sound of my mouth moving, munching the one or two things I put inside, especially the succulent bread, and how I sip the tea, and that is even far from being hungry, but it's about my love for it.
And yeah, I don't do bread all the time because I love to change tastes too, and that is why sometimes I also munch biscuits and chin-chin too, but taking bread always feels better. Because I got reminded of a lot of things, especially childhood.
So yeah, while a lot of people might be busy sleeping and already in wonderland, it is almost 2:45 a.m. here, and I am about to take a small cut from this bread on my table to eat. YOU can come and join me if you know my address...lol.

Thank you for reading.
