I love the simplicity ! Is it worth looking into the feasibility of tying it into #SpendHBD from @distriator in some way ?

To my (probably over-complex) way of thinking, a fully developed solution could include paying via QR code, with #SpendHBD rewards available through the normal route of posting the purchase if the retailer is signed up. But also, it would enable payment in the local currency (or at least USD) so the buyer pays with HBD, the app converts it (probably needing a bank or exchange), with fees - making sure they are still reasonable - being paid by the retailer to give them an incentive to sign up to Hive and get it fee-free. But I appreciate this risks draining capital out of the Hive economy unless there were strong mechanisms to encourage people to come onboard.
