Ellie discovers a heartbreaking letter about a couple's tragic end, triggering doubts about Joel's truth and the Fireflies cure. Between painful flashbacks, jealousy over Dina, and tension with Jesse, she pushes forward, determined to follow a new lead that could bring her closer to Tommy.
Ellie found a letter on the table there that says they were a couple, who escaped Jackson as they got tired of people telling stories of sufferings. They got beaten and decided to end themselves before turning into monsters.
The male shot the female but he didn't have the courage to shoot himself so he waited and became that clicker.
Ellie was regretting saying if only they were immune. Then she was saying what Joel told her about seeing more immune in Firefly hospital. But she was confused as she hasn't seen another immune yet.
Ellie started judging Joel as he didn't let her stay at the firefly hospital after traveling across entire country to bring her there. Ellie was asking why Joel pulled him out of there while she was still unconscious.
Joel acted angry so he don't need to tell Ellie the truth. He said he let them run the tests and when he saw that they were useless, he got them out of there. Ellie was asking more questions and Joel stopped here saying there as no cure, there was nothing to save the peoples who turned.
Ellie came out of the flashback and she was stitching her wounds on an arm herself. I wondered where Dina was at that time, maybe busy with Jesse?
Well, Dina came over and wanted to do the stitching. I thought Ellie wouldn't let her but she did. Then Ellie asked if Dina told Jesse about she being pregnant.
Wait a minute. So, Jesse is the father of the child Dina was carrying. And that's why Ellie was being jealous seeing Dina taking care of him.
Then Ellie asked if Dina found out any information that'd help them track Tommy. Dina tracked a girl named Nora whose unit was assigned to a hospital as they were collecting supplies or something.
After having the lead, Ellie was getting ready to go alone right away but Dina suggested her to wait for Jesse to rest up. But Ellie didn't want to miss the chance so she went out and was talking about following route 5, that should take her to the hospital.
