My home town has changed over the years. When I was a youngster, it was the place to go for fashionable clothes. We had a bustling market and people used to drive miles to visit. Those days have gone. Shops are closing because the rent is too high, so is the rent for a market stall. Nowadays, it's only a few days a week that it gets slightly busier, and of course, nobody wants to pay for parking when there's nothing much to see in town, like me!

Today, I made a rare trip into town but found some free parking on the outskirts and walked it up. The reason for my visit was that I'd heard a graffiti artist is doing a giant piece on the shopping centre wall. If this doesn't get me into town, nothing will!

The mural is being done by Peachzz, an international street artist. She started it at the beginning of November so it's not complete yet.

This piece has only just been sketched out, so it will be interesting to see what it becomes. It was very difficult to take photos as the sun wasn’t very kind to me. The building is quite high and there's not enough room at the side to step back and see it in it's entirety. Also, as it isn't finished yet the artist still has a platform crane and metal gates at the front of it. I did my best though. It will look great when it's finished. I'm 100% sure though that some scrote will vandalise it!
Thank you to @digi-me and the team for running the CCC's Street Art Contest #276.
