Because I can't be happy with the cleanliness and orderliness of them. Since I often make it at home, today I thought of making pastry at home, which is a bakery product. This takes time and requires a lot of work that requires a little more attention. But when you make it and taste it, you feel very happy. So let's see how to make this delicious pastry.
Ingredients;
- A cup of wheat flour
- 200ml of oil
- Half teaspoon of salt powder
- Half teaspoon of baking powder
- Three tablespoons of cornflour
- 55ml of water
- A filling of your choice
(I used a potato mixture for this because I didn't add any meat or fish to this. Even a vegetarian can eat it.)
The method of making;
First, add the flour to a bowl.
Then add salt powder.
Now add three teaspoons of oil and mix well.
Add water little by little to make a dough.
Knead well for about two minutes, because then the dough will become even softer.
Cover and leave for about twenty minutes.
In the meantime, let's prepare the pastry margarine. For this, add three tablespoons of cornflour to the bowl and add half a teaspoon of baking powder to it.
Add three tablespoons of coconut oil and melt well.
Now sprinkle flour on the tray you are going to roll out, and sprinkle flour on top of the dough. Then thin out the dough into a rectangle.
Spread the prepared pastry margarine well.
Fold it into thirds as shown in the picture.
Spread the pastry margarine again and fold it into three as shown in the picture.
Close again for about ten minutes.
Again follow the same steps as above and leave it closed for ten minutes. I believe it will be clear to you from the pictures.
Follow these steps a third time and make a pastry sheet.
After covering it tightly for ten minutes, roll it out very thinly into a rectangular shape.
Cut out unnecessary parts around.
Divide into six equal parts.
Place one tablespoon of the prepared potato filling on each.
Apply the pastry sheet all around with water.
Hold two parallel corners tightly and fold them into a triangle. Do not fold the edges too tightly. This will cause the edges of the pastry to be visible and not be clearly visible.
Add to the hot oil and fry on medium heat for about four minutes until golden brown on both sides.
This is a bakery product. It takes about two hours to make. But it is very soft and very tasty, clean, and easy to make this pastry at home. If you are a vegetarian, you can make it without adding meat or fish to the filling. Or you can add meat and fish to this filling and make a very tasty pastry. You can enjoy it in the evening with a cup of hot tea, and you can also add it to evening snack or breakfast.
