Hi bloggers and food lovers. How are you all doing at the start of this week? I hope everything is going well. Okay, today I'm going to share one of my favorite Korean snacks that is sweet and chewy. There is crunchy texture from the filling. This snack is ideal for enjoying with a tea or coff. It's also simple to make. Okay, let's get started.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 400 grams of wheat flour
- 100 grams of glutinous rice flour
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 5 grams of yeast
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 350 ml of water
Filling:
- 150 grams of roasted peanuts
- 100 grams of palm sugar
- a little cinnamon powder
Steps:
Make the dough:

- Combine the flour, sugar, salt, yeast, and oil.

- Mix until well combined.

- Slowly add water until the mixture resembles bread dough but is wetter.

- Let the dough rest for 2 hours.

- While waiting for the dough, make the filling chop the roasted peanuts briefly using a chopper

- Place on a plate and mix with palm sugar and cinnamon powder

- Stir until everything is mixed

- After 2 hours and the dough has started to rise, take about 70 grams of dough. It is best to grease your hands/plastic gloves with oil

- Fill the dough with the filling

Fry pan the dough and cook them with preheated oil
Cook over low heat

- Press until it takes this shape, I used the spatula

Flip the dough and pan-fry until golden brown
Remove and drain

- This sweet and chewy snack pairs well with an americano
Thank you and happy cooking 😀
