It's another lovely weekend. What's a weekend without eating healthy food .

Today's recipe is Stir fried pasta twist with vegetables. It's been a while i had pasta, so today i decided to cook it in a special way.
One secret to cooking healthy meals is buying fresh vegetables from the market. Over here getting vegetables is quite easy, but buying fresh veggies is a bit difficult. Today, was a bit different, and it's because, the last time I visited the market to buy fresh vegetables, i found out a spot where i could always buy fresh looking veggies.

Ingredients
- 300g pasta twist
- 100g of vegetable oil
- 4 carrots
- 6 scotch bonnet peppers
- 1 Green bell peppers
- 1 spoon of salt
- 1 seasoning cubes
- 1 spoon of dark soy sauce
- 10g of Green peas
- 4 spring onions

Preparation
First thing is to wash my pan properly, washing the cooking utensils is a good way of maintaining proper hygiene when cooking.

I allowed the water to come to a boil, then i proceed to add my pasta twist. I allowed it to boil for 10 minutes

After boiling for 10 mins, i drained out the excess water. I love draining the leftover from my pasta because of the starch, draining the water would help reduce the starch from the pasta.
After i was done with the pasta twist, i set it aside .
Veggies time
First things first, i washed my vegetables properly. Remember proper hygiene has to take place when cooking 😉.
I washed the vegetables until it was clean.
After washing, i started prepping my veggies.
started prepping my carrots into smaller pieces.

I like removing the seed of my bell peppers. I cut open my green bell peppers , De-seeded it and started cutting it into smaller pieces.



At this point i was done cutting all my vegetables.

Cooking Time.
Step 1 = put your pan on the cooker, all the pan to heat up for some seconds .
Step 2 = Add your vegetable oil, all it to heat up a little.
Step 3 = When the oil has heated up, add in your onions.
Step 4 = Add red scotch bonnet peppers



I stirred the onions and the pepper for one minute, then I went in with the vegetables .

Stirred for some seconds, then I added dark soy sauce.


After stirring for some time, i introduced my pasta twist to the vegetable sauce.

I allowed the pasta twist and the vegetables sauce to cook properly, i left it to cook for 5 minutes. I stirred it for the last time .

Food is ready, i served the food in my plate 🍽️. I added Green bell pepper 🫑 and carrots for toppings.

The food tasted so delicious 🤤
