Oatmeal Donut Cookies
Sweet potato oatmeal donut cookies are a very delicious way of serving oatmeal
without flour by utilizing sweet potatoes as a flour substitute. Oatmeal donuts were inspired by one of the recipes on the internet that was reposted by my best friend. How sweet potatoes, peanuts and oatmeal look so appetizing in one baked cookie. They topped it with various nuts like almont and other seeds so it looks very beautiful. Well because I made these cookies by utilizing the existing ingredients, so the toppings I gave were in accordance with what I had, here are the preparation steps!.
Required Ingredients
100 grams steamed sweet potato
100 grams peanuts
100 grams powdered sugar
½ teaspoon salt
To Taste Strawberries
To Taste Raisins
Making Procedure
I mash the sweet potato with a fork, then add it.
Add powdered sugar, nuts and then add oatmeal and salt.
Stir and then knead until evenly mixed then divide the dough into several parts.
Then shape it round like a donut and perforate the center.
Give toppings according to taste, I gave toppings of strawberry pieces, raisins and peanuts well the original recipe uses almont topping and granola you can adjust as desired.
Now bake at 150 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat for 30 minutes. Now because this is soft cookies so baked not until dry.
Result
Oatmeal soft cookies are ready to be enjoyed, the flavor is very good with a very soft texture, sweet potatoes combine perfectly with nuts and oatmeal. There is a blend of sourness from the strawberries, The flavor of peanuts with oats seems to blend perfectly with the combination of the soft cook flavor really makes me love it. And of course my father loved it because he likes soft cookies that are not hard.

Soft cookie that look ordinary become luxurious soft cookie and of course you can serve them anytime when there is an event at your house. It feels so good to be able to prepare these cookies at home for my family. Well previously I have also made cookies from oatmeal and sweet potatoes but the taste is very different maybe because of the composition of the ingredients and I made it dry and this is processed more into soft cookies donut which has a softer texture and is very friendly for children.
