Warm greetings to everyone here how are you all doing today I hope you all are doing wonderfully well.
Today I made one of my native meal for lunch is sweet corn and cassava flack and I one of my mother's favorite so I made it for her for lunch.
INGREDIENTS USED
1 cup of sweet corn
1 cup of cassava flack
Salt to taste
1/2 medium Onion
1/2 tablespoon of dry pepper
1/4 cup of red oil
3 tablespoon of NGO
Water.
NOTE: NGO is our native oil thicker gotten from dry burnt plantains peels after burning the plantains peel you put the ashes into a neat water and firter the water gotten is called NGO.
"PROCEDURE*
I will first wash my corn very well put into my pot add water and cook.
I will allow my corn to get soft I will now add my cassava flack and also add salt.
Once they are done I will now drain the water and set aside.
In a dry pot I will put my red oil, add my NGO into my red oil and stir very well that will change my red oil and also thick my red oil.
I will now wash and slice my onions and add I will also add my cooked corn and cassava flack and stir very well and also add my pepper and stir very well.
Here my corn and cassava flack is ready.
Looking at this dish is very simple and tempting the taste is topnotch she really love the way I prepared this corn and cassava flack.
