My native meal fio_fio and abacha (pigeon peas and cassava flakes)

Warm greetings to everyone here how are you all doing today I made a very delicious recipe for dinner today.
In the eastern part of Nigeria there is this native meal will call fio_fio (pigeon peas)
This food is a very delicious meal that looks like beans but not beans and it has a lot of health benefits.

I prepared this meal with my cassava flakes and it turns out very delicious and healthy.
Let's go on the ingredients I used in prepare my FIO_FIO.

INGREDIENTS USED
3 cups of fio_fio (pigeon peas)
1/4 paint of cassava flakes
1/2 cup of red oil
1 medium Onion
Salt to taste
5 piece of fresh pepper
Water.

PROCEDURE
This process is very simple
I will first put my pigeon peas in a clean pot add water and cook.
I will cook for some minutes I will now bring it down and wash.

After washing it I will now put it back into my pot add water and cook.
While waiting for my pigeon peas to get done I will now get my ingredients ready by washing and cutting my onions and my pepper.

In a clean plate I will put my cassava flakes and pour hot water cover and let it get soft and some minutes I will drain the water and set aside.

After a long cooking I will now check my pigeon peas if they are soft once they get soft I will now put my cassava flakes, my onions, my salt, my pepper and my red oil and stir very well.
