In my country, Venezuela, there's a cassava product called "casabe," which, when soaked, can easily be made into a paste. I thought you might have used something like that, but it was cassava itself. Your recipe looks delicious, tasty, and simple. I hope to make it someday, or at least a similar version, because I'm not aware that dragon fruit exists here.
