Sometimes, we feel like not to eat the food that has been served before us. This happens when we don't what's prepared or it's not tasty. Today that feeling took over me, i rejected the food while it's still un fire. I told them that's no i really wanted, she took it for granted and didn't bother to know what I wanted to eat. She was done cooking and served it for everyone to eat, i majestically walked into the kitchen to make something for myself. She came and peeped through the door saying whatever you're cooking am eating.
Ingredients i made use of
- 500g of yam
- 120ml of vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 300g of tomatoes
- 50g of onion
- 200g of habanero pepper
The tomatoes
The onion
The yam
Step one
I wash the tomatoes, peel and washed the onion then proceeded to slice them. Peeling the yam was the next thing i did, then wash and put it into the pot, added a little water and allow it to cook.
Step two
Pounding my habanero pepper🫑 is what happened in the next step. If make use of habanero pepper to cook you'll agree with me that it's a banger, since i discovered i don't make use of scotch bonnet for the main time.
Place my pot on fire and allow it to heat for a little while the add my vegetable oil and still heat it up on a lower heat. Add my salt, my onion and tomatoes same time as the two were sliced in same plate. I allowed it to fry well and let the tomatoes dry up the water before i can add the pepper because frying them at same time will make one choke
Step three
The yam is done and brought it down sieve out the remaining water and cut it into more smaller size then poured it into the my tomato and pepper mix stir it so the mix well and then i scooped it out to my plate.
I love this food because it's prepared with fresh tomatoes, pepper and onion.
Is there more i could have added this recipe? Come to the comments and tell me about it so that i will take note and when next i try it i will effect it.
