RE: Scares Of All Kinds!

in Daily Blog7 months ago

Uhm hello there! Good to read something from you again, I'm not reading that much lately, sorry, but when I end up at your blog, I always enjoy your writings!

Well, our girl proceeded to tell us how this particular person was spouting off that people needed to be sterilized, have permission to have children when the state deems they were stable enough to do so, and men's bodies should be governed like women's are.

My mouth fell through the ground, or at least close! Imagine when these type of people are in control, the horror!

A degree gives you tools. Experience gives you the wisdom to use them."

Kudos for that response! I used to think that I needed to study years and years until I got to the point where I was bored out of my mind and lost all motivation so I started working instead. Let me tell you that I did the right thing for me, learning from books only is not my cup of tea and will not work anyway. To each their own though, I believe you learn much more from experiencing things 100%.

In fact, they were instrumental in messing up my beloved library district through conducting a slanderous campaign against me and my fellow local librarians in order to get their cronies elected to our library board.

Oof, how tough of them!

Before our hour long interlude was over I had uncovered a hurting soul who was struggling with some pretty major trauma and loss while also trying their best to live with virtuous purpose.

That's sad, but I'm happy you tried to approach this parent the way you did because I'd never thought someone pressing people their own opinions this hard is still open to listen to other people's point of views. Good for you !LADY

That's the key that I think is missing a lot of the time in 21st century human interactions.

That's so true, especially since 2020 hit the world. I feel sad about how people in general treat each other, I really do. But the positive side of this is that when I read a positive story where people actually emphasize and listen, I feel instantly happy and have a smile on my face!

Sorry for the book length comment lol. Hope you're doing well !LUV

Holy no need to be sorry! Life is wild and you are one busy lady for sure! I mean just being a mom keeps one hopping!

It so made me smile that you are a hands on learner! My brother and one of my kids are that way, and I saw the struggles my brother went through in school, which were heartbreaking. He is incredibly smart, he just doesn't learn easily the book learning, traditional school way, so I vowed to learn different approaches and homeschooled my kids when they were young so they wouldn't get disillusioned by the limitations of the learning world. Experience is awesome!

Please, please, please never apologize for the long comments, I absolutely love them and they bring a smile to my face, just like you do when you drop by for a read and a reply😊

Hope all is going beyond well with you and the fam!
