Iftar With My CoWorkers

in Daily Blog21 days ago

At the end of fasting yesterday, I went out to eat at a cafe in the hotel. Of course, I was not alone, I was with my other coworkers. We did iftar together there. The name of the cafe is Cafe de Palmo.

Many menus were served there, from appetizer to dessert booths, with an all you can eat system. With a price of 198,000 rupiah/person.
We arrived at the place at 6pm. The table was already available because we had made a reservation in advance. There were many food and drink menus. There was curry martabak which is one of my favorite foods made of vegetables and minced meat wrapped in spring roll skin doused with savory and spicy curry sauce.

Iftar would have not complete without fried food without fried food, there are fried foods such as bakwan which is flour dough mixed with vegetables then fried in hot oil, tofu walik which is fried tofu with filling inside, and risol.

There are also traditional wet cakes like kue lapis and lepat. There are sweets such as klapertart, sponge cake, chocolate pudding, fruit pie, triangular-shaped layer cakes wrapped in grated coconut doused with melted brown sugar.

There is a selection of cut fruits such as melon and watermelon, there are fruit pickles of pineapple, cucumber, and jicama. For savory food, there are meatballs and grilled sausages.

That's a lot of menu.
For the main course, there is briyani rice with a large selection of side dishes such as rendang, fried chicken, and eggs. Not forgetting the capcai and crackers of course.
For dessert, there is a mouth-refreshing chocolate ice cream.

The atmosphere around the hotel is also very cozy. Accompanied by warm colors of lights that support the atmosphere.

What a beautiful iftar moment for this year.
