Luckily, the weather was quite good today, so my husband and I made yet another trip to our new house to complete the move. As you can see, with the nice weather, the road and the houses were very beautiful. To get to our new house, we passed through some very pretty towns like Masotti and Serravalle. The photos are from our trip to Masotti. Once we got to the house, we got busy, especially finishing the painting in a few rooms, cleaning the outside a bit, and installing some boiler parts. Then, since we were hungry but hadn't brought any food with us, we decided to have lunch with one of our favorite things, like good Italians: pizza!

Una vez en casa, nos pusimos manos a la obra, sobre todo terminando de pintar algunas habitaciones, limpiando un poco el exterior e instalando algunas piezas de la caldera. Luego, como teníamos hambre pero no habíamos traído nada para comer, decidimos almorzar una de nuestras cosas favoritas, como la buena comida italiana: ¡pizza!
We found a little place not far from our new house that sold pizza by the slice. It was a pleasant surprise! They have various types of pizza, including prosciutto crudo and prosciutto cotto, salami, sausage, Margherita, mushroom, and other options. They also have various Tuscan focaccias filled with both meat and vegetables, both white and red focaccias, and they also sell bread. We ordered a few slices of pizza, but I didn't take a photo. I didn't have time; we were too hungry, so we devoured them right away. I must say, they were good, although a little pricey for the area.

After lunch, we went back to work on the house. We had a lot of work to do, both because of the cold and because of some technical issues. However, by a certain hour, we were exhausted and couldn't wait to get home. When I got home, I was really tired. I quickly cleaned up and then put on my pajama outfit and my foot warmer! Have you ever seen a cuter foot warmer than this? My mother gave it to me because I've always suffered from cold feet. It's super comfortable, soft, fits both feet perfectly, and it's incredibly warm! It was a very useful and much-appreciated gift! Then, to relax, I settled down to read a good book. I have to say, one of the best I've read recently. It's loosely based on the lives of the Bronte sisters and is wonderfully written. Each chapter is a story in itself that intertwines with the story of two tormented writer sisters. In short, a lovely evening read. And how do I end the evening? Después de comer, volvimos a las tareas de la casa. Teníamos mucho trabajo, tanto por el frío como por algunos problemas técnicos.
