Feliz noche amigos de Daily Blog hoy quiero mostrarle un poco de mi día. Y la verdad es que últimamente mis días están siendo bastante movidos y es que me toca hacer de todo un poco. Mi mamá aún sigue un poco enferma pero está mejorando y es que le estamos dando todos los cuidados para que esté bien.
Good night, Daily Blog friends. Today I want to show you a little bit of my day. The truth is, my days have been pretty hectic lately, and I have to do a little bit of everything. My mom is still a little sick, but she's getting better, and we're giving her every care she needs to stay well.
Mis días comienzan temprano y es que la nefrologa me recomendó llevar un control de la tension y la glucosa, en la mañana olvide tomar una foto del desayuno para el almuerzo prepare pollo con vegetales y un poco de arroz. Y es que debía dejar el almuerzo listo ya que tenía que salir a comprar unas medicinas y algo de comida.
My days start early, because the nephrologist recommended monitor my mom blood pressure and glucose levels. In the morning, I forgot to take a picture of breakfast, so for lunch I prepared chicken with vegetables and a little rice. I had to have lunch ready since I had to go out to buy some medicine and some food.
Luego de almorzar me arregle para ir al centro de la isla, al llegar pase por un chino y le compré algunas cosas a mi sobrino, la verdad que es un niño muy consentido pero es que me hace tan feliz cuando le compro algunos pequeños detalles.
After lunch, I got ready to go to the center of the island. Upon arriving, I stopped by a Chinese store and bought some things for my nephew. He's a very spoiled child, but he makes me so happy when I buy him little things.
Me encontré con una amiga y nos fuimos hasta playa el angel y la primera parada fue farmatodo y es que debía comprar un antibiótico que le recetaron a mi mamá por una infección urinaria que tiene. Ya la semana pasada se tomó una caja de estos antibióticos pero la doctora le dijo que debía seguir con el tratamiento y cada caja de estas pastillas cuesta casi 40$, también le compré unas pastillas para los gases porque ha tenido muchos estos últimos días y también le hacía falta un repelente de mosquitos.
I met up with a friend and we went to El Angel Beach. Our first stop was Farmatodo. I needed to buy some antibiotics my mom was prescribed for a urinary tract infection. She took a pack of these last week, but the doctor told her she had to continue the treatment, and each pack of these pills costs almost $40. I also bought her some pills for her gas because she's had a lot of them these past few days, and she also needed some mosquito repellent.
Luego de comprar los medicamentos con mi amiga nos fuimos a una heladería que yo fui hace poco y que me encanto y quería que ella probara estos helados que son realmente deliciosos. En esta oportunidad ella pidió una barquilla y yo pedí una tina y es que a esta opción se le podía agregar dos topping y un sirope. Sin lugar a dudas el helado estuvo delicioso.
After buying some medicine with my friend, we went to an ice cream shop I'd been to recently and loved it. I wanted her to try their ice cream, which is truly delicious. This time, she ordered a cone, and I ordered a tub, which you could add two toppings and a syrup to. The ice cream was definitely delicious.
Disfrutamos de un delicioso helado, de un centro comercial que ella no había ido y que le parecio hermoso y además hablamos de todo un poco y es que la verdad estás últimas semanas yo me he sentido tan abrumada con el tema de la salud de mi mamá que de verdad necesitaba salir y hablar y no solo pensar en la salud de mi mamá. Y no me malinterpreten amo a mi mamá pero estar a cargo de una persona enferma puede ser muy desgastante.
We enjoyed delicious ice cream, a trip to a mall she hadn't been to and thought was beautiful, and we also talked about everything. The truth is, these past few weeks I've felt so overwhelmed with my mom's health that I really needed to get out and talk and not just think about my mom's health. And don't get me wrong, I love my mom, but being in charge of someone who's sick can be very exhausting.
Aproveche que estaba cerca de un supermercado y compré algunas frutas y vegetales que necesitaba en casa.
I took advantage of the fact that I was near a supermarket and bought some fruits and vegetables that I needed at home.
