It's fourth of January, the holiday euphoria about New Year is still going strong and here in Serbia we are getting ready for one of the biggest and happiest holidays, Christmas. 😊
These few days I had zero inspiration for making something creative to eat. Today I wanted to change that, so I started my day with an interesting mix of flavors. I cut some fresh cucumber into thin sticks, added a handful of choped walnuts, a few pieces of homemade sour beetroot, some coconut 100% percent vegan cheese and on top of that I poured a mix of chickpea hummus with a little hot water, lemon, salt and olive oil. That worked like a kind of dressing or sauce that tied everything together into one fun meal salad. I really liked the mix, even though at first it did not look very promising. (: Looks a bit weird, right… xD but believe me, it was really tasty and I could have eaten more. If you like trying out unusual food combinations, here is an idea for you, you'll not regret it, trust me.

Then I jumped into folding a whole pile of dry laundry that I hadn't taken off the drying rack for a few days; there were 3 baskets of them, all this full. On top of that, there were two more loads of freshly washed laundry that I took upstairs and hung to dry. I guess that also counts as a workout for me, cause our drying rack is at the attic... (:
During a break I took between hanging and folding and hanging and folding.. 😁 I made myself the best Nespresso with honey, ofc and did a little beauty routine which in my case is just the classic eyebrow plucking aaaand that would be it. xD

After "so much work" I naturally got hungry pretty fast, so another interesting mix of flavors got its chance to shine on today's weird menu. Again cucumber, this time finely chopped, one fresh champignon mushroom (I really love fresh mushrooms 😍 even more than cooked ones), tofu cubes seasoned with pepper, turmeric and salt, lightly fried on a bit of olive oil. Over all of that I squeezed some lemon and sprinkled roasted sunflower seeds and dried chopped Swiss chard. This one looks nicer than that breakfast above, right? But, I still cannot decide which one was better.

Maybe you already saw that my new little obsession is Sketchbook app; I have been annoying everyone with my amateur drawings, but… it is just too much fun, I really have to do it. So today as well, I drew, got a bit disapointed because it didn't look the way I imagined it in my head, but actually it turned out pretty nice. Ten times better than what I would manage on paper. (:

Speaking of a little snow-covered house from my imagination, the real one we are looking at through the window of our bedroom could have looked just like that today. But nope, the snow didn't stay on the roofs for even a few minutes, it quickly turned into heavy rain that now constantly plays the most beautiful songs, perfect for falling asleep and dreaming sweet. Zzzz. 🥰

I was thinking whether I have material for another really interesting collections topic, but nope, you can actually tell just by looking at my tiny stash of pens (barely fit in one hand) how little I write by hand. That's something I could also change this year, would be nice.
Btw, I also took a photo of a lucky scratch-scratch card where we scratched like 100 dinars, so we have enough to exchange for a new one. The whole scratch card thing was started by our friends we play rummy with, just for fun. They were giving each other New Year gifts and a friend had the idea to start buying these cards to people on her work place. She also gave us three and together on all 3 we won 600 dinars, which we immediately exchanged for six new ones. And that's how a little internal rule was born: as long as we have some to exchange, we play; if not, then nothing. 😁

That's all for this update dear people. Thank you for reading and Happy New Year! 🎉🎇🥂
