Today is the last day of November, and we are just hours away from December, when we commemorate Christmas and the birth of Jesus. It is one of the most beautiful times of the year and my favorite. It is a pleasure to share my visit to a beautiful destination in the city of Cumaná, which celebrated its 510th anniversary on the 27th of this month. This city stands out for its beautiful coastal landscapes, the longest urban beach in the country, and some mountainous areas with spectacular views and a charming climate. Our visit was to the Chipi-chipi beach area, a large stretch of coastline on the Cumaná-Carúpano national highway, located a few kilometers from the El Peñón tollbooth. It is a beautiful beach, notable for its lovely blue color. Upon arrival, I quickly went outside the inn to admire the beautiful scenery.
It's an ideal place to relax and enjoy being in contact with nature. You can also enjoy the sea breeze and rest in a comfortable chair in the shade of a palm-thatched hut nestled on a wooden walkway on the beach. This was my favorite part; the view is incredible and enchanting, and the water is fresh and crystal clear. I've passed by there several times and didn't know this beautiful paradise existed. This time, we stopped to enjoy the beauty of this spectacular area of the city. To get there, you can use public transportation, which starts operating very early on this route, or if you have your own car, even better, so you're not tied to the bus schedule. This was the first thing I did: explore and get to know this beautiful part of the state, and I must say that words aren't enough to describe it.
The decor is beautiful, with palm trees, huts, and bougainvillea flowers, which are very common in this area. In fact, there's a space dedicated to several bougainvillea plants. The decor also includes wooden animals like a seahorse, which looks very realistic. The stone wall is adorned with small boats, marine paintings, and a general nautical theme. I loved the combination of the floor with the wooden tables, which gives it a tropical style. 🦩🥭
The colors look great, and the combination of these elements—wood, stone, palm trees, and the tiled floor—creates a wonderful harmony and a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. The beach huts are definitely a plus, with a special area for relaxing outdoors and enjoying the natural beauty of the place. For over an hour, I walked around this area, observing the beach and the huts in detail, and I took a few photographs. The idea was to take in the place, enjoy the breeze, the scenery, and the good fortune of having discovered this charming spot, which, although it's near the capital of Sucre state, I hadn't had the opportunity to visit before. Needless to say, it was a very pleasant and relaxing visit, one I would have liked to extend, but commitments and responsibilities called.
Saludos amigos amantes de la naturaleza deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido día en unión de sus seres queridos, hoy el último día del mes de noviembre y estamos a pocas horas de iniciar el mes de diciembre donde conmemoramos la Navidad y nacimiento de Jesús; es una de las épocas más bonita del año y mi mi favorita, es un placer compartir mi visita a un hermoso destino de la ciudad de Cumaná, la cual celebró su cumpleaños número 510 el 27 del mes en curso, esta ciudad destaca por sus hermosos paisajes costeros, la playa urbana más larga del territorio nacional, y alguna zonas montañosas con espectaculares vistas y un encantador clima, nuestra visita se realizó hacia la zona de la playa Chipi-chipi, una gran extensión de costas en la caretera nacional Cumaná Carúpano, ubicada a pocos kilómetros del peaje El Peñón, es una linda playa, que destaca por su lindo color azul, al llegar me dirigí rápidamente al espacio exterior de la posada, para observar la belleza del paisaje.
Es un espacio deal para relajarse y disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza, además puedes disfrutar de la brisa marina y descansar en una cómoda silla a la sombra de una choza de palma enclavada en una caminería de madera en la playa, esta fue parte favorita, la vista es increíble y encantadora, además el agua fresca y cristalina; he pasado en varias oportunidades por allí y no sabía de la existencia de hermoso paraíso, en esta ocasión hicimos una parada para disfrutar la belleza de esta espectacular zona de la ciudad, para trasladarse se puede utilizar el transporte público, el cual desde muy temprano inicia sus operaciones en esta ruta, o si dispones de carro particular mucho mejor, así no se está sujeto a los horarios de la ruta, para devolverse o hacer un recorrido, esto fue lo primero que hice explorar y conocer esta linda parte del estado y debo decir que las palabras no son suficientes para describirla.
La decoración es hermosa, con palmeras chozas, flores bugambilia que son muy comunes en esta zona, de hecho hay un espacio donde se ubican varias plantas de bugambilia, la decoración también incluye animales en madera como el hipocampo o caballito de mar, que se ve muy realista, la pared es de piedra y está adornada con pequeños botes, cuadros marinos y en general la temática alusiva al mar; me gustó la combinación del piso con las mesas de madera, que le dan un estilo tropical 🦩🥭
Los colores se ven muy bien y la combinación de estos elementos; madera, piedra palmas y el piso de caico crean una gran armonía y un ambiente agradable y acogedor, las chozas en la playa definitivamente son el plus, con un área especial para relajarse al aire libre y disfrutar la belleza natural del lugar, durante más de una hora caminé por esta zona observando en detalle la playa, las chozas y tomé pocas fotografías, la idea era observar el lugar, disfrutar la brisa el paisaje y la fortuna de haber conocido este encantador lugar, que aunque está cerca de la capital del estado Sucre, no había tenido la oportunidad de conocer, está demás decir, que fue una visita muy agradable y relajante, que me hubiese gustado extender por más tiempo pero los compromisos y responsabilidades llaman.
After my tour of this beautiful area, my friend and I took a short trip to the nearby town of San Antonio, which also boasts beautiful landscapes and an incredible ocean view. Here, the sea is a darker blue, contrasting with the mountains, sky, and clouds. In the following photograph, we see a tile-roofed hut used by beachgoers and visitors to store their bags and belongings while enjoying the beach. It's also often used as a transportation stop, especially in the mornings and afternoons when it's busy with people going to the beach and returning home. This hut, along with others of the same design, is part of the beautiful seaside promenade.
The breeze in this area is fresh and pleasant. On the wall or viewpoint decorated with waves and figures alluding to the sea, people sit to chat and enjoy the scenery. As we continued our journey, we found several mangroves. The sky was clear with beautiful clouds that looked like cotton balls.
The following photograph is one of my favorites because it has a mix of blue, green, lighter green, a different shade of blue than the previous blue, and the clouds in the sky add the white color that matches the bench on this avenue; back at the Chipi-chipi beach area, I took one last photograph of the huts, the view is incredible from this angle, they seem to be floating on the sea, I really loved this panorama and the beautiful surroundings; The clouds, the sea, the sky, and the huts create a beautiful and pleasant landscape.
In the last photograph, and one that couldn't be missing, in this area of the city, we appreciate the famous Bougainvillea Bougainvillea glabra. As I mentioned at the beginning, many Bougainvillea plants are found in this area, which adorn and beautify it. They also have the particularity of adapting to the warm climate. This concludes my enchanting visit to a beautiful place in the city, which I hope to visit again and explore completely. I also want my little adventurer to accompany me next time so he can also enjoy this beautiful wonder of the region.
Luego de mi recorrido por esta hermosa zona, en compañía de mi amiga hicimos un pequeño viaje a la población cercana que es San Antonio, la cual tiene también hermosos paisajes y una increíble vista del mar, aquí el color del mar es un azul más oscuro y contrasta con la montaña, el cielo y las nubes, en la siguiente fotografía vemos una cabaña de teja que es usada por los bañistas y visitantes para colocar sus morrales y utensilios mientras disfrutan de la playa, también suele usarse como una parada de transporte, en horas de la mañana y en horas de la tarde, la afluencia es grande, cuando las personas van para la playa y regresan a sus hogares, esta cabaña al igual que otras del mismo diseño integran el hermoso paseo marino.
La brisa en esta zona es fresca y agradable, en el muro o mirador decorado con olas y figura alusivas al mar, las personas se sientan a conversar y disfrutar del paisaje, avanzando nuestro recorrido encontramos varios mangles, el cielo estaba despejado y con lindas nubes que parecían copos de algodón.
La siguiente fotografía es una de mis favoritas pues en ella hay una mezcla de color azul, verde, verde más claro, un tono de azul diferente al anterior azul y las nubes en el cielo agregan el color blanco que combina con el banco de esta avenida; ya de vuelta a la zona de playa Chipi- chipi, tomé una última fotografía a la chozas, la vista es increíble desde este ángulo, parecen estar flotando en el mar, la verdad me encantó esta panorámica y el hermoso entorno; las nubes, el mar el cielo y las chozas, crean un bello y agradable paisaje, en la última fotografía y la que no puede faltar, en esta zona de la ciudad, apreciamos la famosa Trinitaria Bougainvillea glabra, como lo mencioné al principio en esta zona se ubican muchas plantas de Trinitaria, las cuales adornan y embellecen esta área, además tienen la particularidad que se adaptan al clima cálido, hasta aquí mi encantadora visita a un hermoso lugar de la ciudad, el cual espero visitar nuevamente y recorrer por completo, también quiero que en la siguiente oportunidad me acompañe mi pequeño aventurero para que disfrute también esta hermosa maravilla de la región.
