I Thought I Hated Peaches Until I Ate It Again

in Cent3 days ago

When i were a child i ate this fruit called peach, it's bittersweet taste with weird texture and butt format left me weird the entire day that day and since then i couldn't forget the hate.

Fortunately, fate has granted me the possibility of eating this again today and so, now as this fruit's lover, i shall preach about it.

Peaches as a fruit are considered good from their great taste to their powerful health benefits. Since they are packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, while being naturally low in calories. The main reasons why peaches are good for you are:

Peaches boost heart health for being good sources of potassium, which is an important mineral that helps to regulate blood pressure and heart rate by balancing out the effects of sodium. They also contain fiber and antioxidants which are components that can help lower "bad" LDL cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.

Also being known for aiding digestive health for being high in soluble fiber which stabilizes blood sugar and insoluble fiber that adds bulk and prevents constipation. It's also high in water content keeping you hydrated and your digestion running smoothly with regular bowl movements.

It's a great fruit for skin and eyes when regarding it's content of vitamin C, crucial for building collagen, beta-carotene or pro vitamin A too that is what gives peaches the color orange, protecting skin from UV damage and provides a healthy vision specially at night. And lets not forget it's antioxidants famous for protecting the eyes and reducing risk of cataracts or age-related macular degeneration.

I previously mentioned antioxidants for other reasons but they also have it to increase immunity, the same vitamin C, A and polyphenous can heavenly fight harmful free radicals in the body which help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, later on giving strength to the immune system specially from chronic diseases.

And as said before, it's a low calorie fruit with around 50 to 70 calories, high fiber volume and anti inflammation characteristics, not to mention being virtually fat free cholesterol free so peaches do support weight management, and tell me they are also very satiating. Making you full longer and help satisfy cravings.

Who would say my childish ass wouldn't be able to feel the delicious nature of a peach? I guess i had to grow to try it out and appreciate it.
