Whoever said you can't eat healthy crackers hasn't tried my creation, hahaha—and I say that because, in the end, I ended up improvising these crackers. Strangely enough, the recipe didn't turn out the way I expected. Still, I managed to salvage the dough and make these crackers.

Today I decided to get creative. I had some chia seeds, and I wanted to try making those famous savory cookies, but when I went to get the oats, it turned out I didn’t have enough; still, I wanted to give it a try. Now I’ll tell you what ingredients I used to make these savory cookies—and I have to admit, they turned out really delicious.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 cup rolled oats
- Salt
- Paprika
- Olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
Instructions:
The first thing I did was put the rolled oats in the bowl; then I added the paprika, a pinch of salt, and a splash of olive oil.
Next, I added a tablespoon of sesame seeds; as for the chia seeds, we know we have to soak them, which I had already done with a little water the day before, so I could add them to this mixture today.

However, the dough was turning out too runny, so I decided to add a little whole-wheat flour to help it hold together better. I let it rest for a few minutes, and this is how it turned out.

It was still a little soft, but I didn't want to add any more flour, so I left it as is. The idea was to get it to a consistency where I could roll out the dough, but I couldn't. So I shaped it into little balls and baked them for about 10 minutes.

And look how these delicious cookies turned out—well, I ended up with a few to snack on later and satisfy those cravings for something sweet; not bad at all, right?

SPANISH VERSION
