Hello hello ^^ This weekend my lab grampas dragged me with them to one of their province houses ^^ So one of them lives in Bicol, somewhere Camarines Norte and that was a gruelling 12 hour drive to here 🥲 so I don't even want to imagine the ride back. This is day 1 and we are planning on staying here until monday afternoon. Hopefully we can get back to the lab by Tuesday morning but idk if I'd have the energy to go to work 🤣
So we left yesterday evening then arrived here at like 8am? First thing the grampas did though was go to the market and to the beach to get food and when they said they were going fishing, they really went fishing 🤣🤣🤣
The fishes here are huge 🥹 well, not just the fish. Even the crabs, the shrimps, they're massive. And as a city girl who has always thought seafood was a luxury, this made me feel sooooo rich 🤣 i feel like a queen of the oils 🤣
Like, the grampas were just spoiling me, making sure my plate never goes empty. like that level of care i don't even feel from my own family 🥹 i kind of enjoy it
So the cooking, me just keeping watch and chatting them went on until the afternoon. Then after all the drinking, card games and just going back and forth in the small town, we finally went to the sea which was actually just in front of the house we were staying in ^^
The beach was definitely beautiful. I love seeing the sea but I'm also not convinced I like swimming in the sea as much as I like swimming in rivers
Then by afternoon, they let me roam around by myself, they just gave me a curfew 🤣 so i went shell hunting
I did get a bit of a haul and I even found a little crab
Then by evening, they came back to the hut with this huge ass mango that was probably 8 inches or so? the mangoes here are just as wild as the grampas 🤣🤣🤣
well that has been my Saturday. My sunday was more chill i spent sooooo much of my morning in the water and then napping that i barely got to use my phone except for now 🤣
I enjoyed it though 🤗 So how did your weekend go guys? mine still isn't over yet because there's still the travelling home and souvenir shopping later and tomorrow ☺️ That's all from me for now. I hope I can find a few more activities to do aside from become a little proncess because that's basically what happened on this trip
