When People Are Already Struggling, How Do You Plan for Higher Food Prices?

Most people are living pay-check to pay-check already. Most people do not have even $500 of savings.

Property rental corporations are doing their best to raise rates every year. Insurance companies are making it really difficult for people to stay in their homes. In Florida insurance rates have gone up so much that people get into a position where they can't sell their condo. No one willing to buy it with the upgrades costs imposed by the insurance companies.

All of the biggest expenses are being pushed higher (almost like it is a concerted effort by evil corporations to destroy the middle class) and wages are not rising. Not even close to inflation rates. And then we must add in the real inflation numbers, and soon to be HIGH gas prices. (thanks IsReal?)

People are being pushed over the edge, and food prices are about to get crazy.

How crazy can food prices get?

We here in America have been quite shielded from massive food price fluctuations and incrases. We grow a lot of the grain that world eats. However, strange things are afoot in the bread basket of the world.

  • American farmland is almost mined out due to chemical farming. Crop yields are getting lower and lower.
  • We are now in the time of the ice-age where winters get longer, and summers are short and brutal. This comes with freak storms and baseball sized hail. Damaging crops, lowering yields further.
  • Food processing plants are suddenly burning down.
  • Farmers are being hit from all sides. Like limiting the amount of cattle they can raise because of cow farts.
  • And, those mother WEFers are growing bugz for you to eat.

Basically, bread that was $1 will soon be $10, and then not available for periods of time.

Meat prices will not be marked on packages, it will be computed at the checkout register.

Grocery store stock will be weird, from actual shortages, to shortages caused by distribution problems, to shortages caused by those mother WEFers cutting off food to certain places.

I don't expect food to just go away, i expect that we will see shortages in various products along various timelines. So, here today, gone next week, back the following week.

So, please have at least, a month of food stored at home.

House or food?

This will be a question we hear more and more.

Of course the media will be using this to talk about rent price control, and food price control. "Oh, won't you think of the children".

But, as things get worse, it will come down to families having to make this choice.

The banksters are hoping, licking their lips, salivating, for the people to miss just one mortgage payment. They are planning to take people's houses because they missed one payment. And the banksters plan to make you miss one payment. (if you can simply pay off your house, like with your crypto riches later this year, you may want to do it, just for the peace of mind)

If you do have to choose between food and house, then buy the food. There will be so many in the same boat that there will not be enough courts to evict the mass numbers who the banksters will want to foreclose upon. The thing for you is to push this off as long as possible. Try not to be first in line.

And, of course, suburban tract homes are going to go to zero. If you have some silver, you can buy back your house (or a similar house) for not much. Or wait a little longer, and there will be lots of vacant houses.

Grow your own food

However, i really suggest getting out of the cities and to homestead where you can grow your own food, and raise your own livestock.

Both, so that you have food security, and that you know that your food isn't poisoned.

Growing food is now easier than ever. With raised beds, automatic watering and rich soil. You can even grow lettuces indoors in a hydroponics setup. Almost no work, and almost free salads.

Greenhouses will be needed more and more. And, with automation, these greenhouses can be do almost all the work. All you need is to plant and harvest. And with the greenhouse you can do this year round.

Chickens are really simple with chicken runs, or chicken tractors. Just 15 minutes a day to make sure there food and water is topped off, and the chickens will just take care of themselves. And free omelets.

This is all great, however, it takes time to set up these systems. So, i really suggest everyone go find their homestead.

There are so many forces arrayed against the supermarket it is amazing that they are still operating.

Stock up today while food is cheap (yes, even these high prices today are CHEAP, compared to tomorrow)

Find ways to fill your bellies without having to go to a grocery store. Grow your own food. Make connections with local farmers. Order food through co-ops.

Things are going to really change over these next years. These days where we see "mostly peaceful" riots and IsReal? attacking their ancient enemies is not going to last for long. A lot of natural disasters and man made disasters are going to make things like long distance travel and shipment a thing that used to be much easier.

There is a lot of things that will make living hard. Make sure that food is not one of them.

I'm really surprised things haven't already spun so far out of control that there is no recovering practically. I try to keep a pulse all across the country and I have friends form NYC to LA. The big cities have been getting hit pretty hard and I feel like a lot of the survival there has been subsidized for the time being.

In the country I often wonder how everyone is making it and driving an monster truck but in some respects a lot of them were able to buy into housing early and it wasn't super outrageous and they kept going. It's a weird thing because in general you can get paid hardly anything here outside of a few situations but then the gas stations and fast food places can't keep employees. Around here they start at "Up to $12 / hour" but they can't keep people at that even in the summers when school is out and you would think some high schoolers might get a summer job. It's interesting for sure.

I do think a lot of fast food places here had illegals working there and some of them are peacing out to dodge ICE raids.

I just got done watching a video about the Florida Condo Price collapse in Punta Gorda, FL. It will get worse with the condo situation.

Then you go to these cities and you see them building all these luxury apartments downtown. It's so confusing in some respects.

You will be even more shocked when they start turning commercial buildings into high end apartments.

They have to try, else they have to write off the entire building. But, they will be trying to rent into a market that is not just falling, but cratering so bad you can't see the bottom.

Corporations are now competing with, doing nothing. Laying flat. Quietly quitting.

If you can live in your mother's basement. By doing some side jobs for a couple hundred bucks spending cash, why would you work for corps? Why would you take on the headache? So that you could waste your life paying shuffling money from job to landlord?

We are REALLY charging to much for a place to sleep.
Men should put in a year of work to build an "apartment", and then be done paying for housing the rest of their lives.

I agree. When men give up trying to attract, impress, or retain women economies collapse. We see the start of that also in China and Japan.

A lot of the luxury apartments get filled with expensive looking dog / plant moms who are getting overpaid by some company to do a non technical role.

I feel like the reason that the African population continues to grow is because in a lot of the areas it is still acceptable to just be out there existing in marginal conditions. Here it isn't acceptable to the women and even if she does allow some guy to have sex with her she is likely not fertile for various reasons. I certainly get why men might just live like a hermit out in some remote area.

And some of Us are homeless with nowhere to store food...

☹️

I hope you can make it in this alt season.
