Experimenting new farming methods is something that is trending everywhere. With the help of single crop farming, the farmers are not earning enough and they would like to try some new methods. With the help of Multi Layer farming, the farm land is put into proper utilization and at the same time the yield is also good from multiple sources making it highly profitable.
Year round harvests
Usually if we have a single crop, we have to wait for the harvest time and only during the harvest we will be able to get the earning but with the help of multi layer farming, we will be able to make money throughout the year with year round harvests. If the farming is split into multiple layers, even if one layer is not ready for harvest, the focus can be on other layer so that the harvest keeps happening and earning can keep happening.

Multi Layer farming
This is a concept where the same piece of land is used in multiple layers where effective utilization of the same piece of land is done at different heights and depths. For example if we have a land with coconut trees, we might have enough space in the ground level. So Cocunut trees will be in the tallest level. Next level can be for creepers. The next layer can be for crops that can be planted around the tree trunks and finally if requried we can also plant some under the ground vegetables in the land. This way an effective utilization of the land happens and the yield is also very good. Usually people having coconut farm will go for pepper farming in parallel. In this concept of farming the roots of the plants are at different levels and that's one biggest advantage because they don't fight with each other for nutrient needs.
Sustainable for the future
We have to consider one point where the amount of agricultural land we have is continuously reducing. We are dependent on the existing land and we should make effective utilization of the land. Irrespective of the fact that the land owner is able to make enough money with this model or not, this is good for producing more food than the regular single crop model. Considering that fact, this is considered to be the sustainable farming method for the future.
