A large park. Greenery in the city. Free. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway with the family. I don't think you need to go far for expensive tourist attractions. Lantern Park in Klaten City makes a pleasant picnic spot.

Most city dwellers are busy with work. They can choose to visit a place as simple as a park. It can be a fun way to spend time with the family, especially with small children.

I stopped at Lantern Park, Klaten City after dropping off the passengers in the tour car I brought from Klaten City Square.

The weather was drizzling after a heavy rain. Luckily, we were able to walk around. Lantern Park, Klaten City is quite spacious. There are plenty of designated areas for photo opportunities.

The park's decorations are typical. As the name suggests, there are lanterns. This area is a Chinese village. I think that's why this lantern park exists. The decorations are typical Chinese architecture.

I also noticed striking red pillars along the footpath. Beautiful. Perfect for visitors who enjoy taking photos.

The park is clean. Shady. Lots of benches. But keep an eye on the kids. There are lots of water spots like pools.

I find it cool in the middle of the city. There are lots of lush trees. Perfect for a morning walk or an afternoon jog.

There are iconic statues. A Hanuman statue in the middle of a fountain.

A large Hanuman statue in the middle of a fountain. Small monkey statues on the edges of other fountains.

There's also a statue, but it looks like a robot holding a bow. It's accompanied by lots of lanterns.

What's cool, in my opinion, is the park's guard post. For the safety of visitors, especially children.

Wow, there's a cute hamster. Kids will love seeing that cute hamster.

The family concept is strong in this park. We can also see there's children's play equipment, like most parks, so don't worry.

There are also surveillance cameras to keep an eye on the kids, but I think it's safer to keep an eye on each child's steps.
I appreciate the mothers. There's a lactation room. This park pays attention to the little details. Wow, thumbs up! There's no need to worry about privacy for mothers with babies.

My passengers and I didn't come here on a weekend. It looked deserted. On weekends, the park would be crowded with visitors, and there are plenty of culinary delights to be found around the park.

I wouldn't mind stopping by next time, but I think it would be better to come on a sunny day for more comfort. Stay safe, everyone.
