Happy Saturday Hivers!
Since I no longer stay permanently in Cebu, I rarely get the chance to go out and explore the city. While scrolling through my Facebook, I came across a nice place to eat located in Talisay City, Cebu. It’s actually quite close to our home since I’m also from Talisay. I told my sister about it, and she said, “When you come to Cebu, let’s go there.”
Since I recently visited Cebu, come along as I take you on a virtual trip to Talisay Tower Garden Restaurant.

It’s easy to find this restaurant because although it’s not located along the national highway, it’s very close to Antara Condominium, which serves as its main landmark. Tower Garden is situated just behind Antara, along Maghaway Road, Lawa-an 3, Talisay City.

This restaurant follows a farm-to-table concept. My first reaction as soon as I entered their compound was, “Wow.” Upon walking through the gate, you’ll immediately notice a multi-level tower built around a tree. Before we looked for our table, we first took some time to visit their garden.

According to the owner, they started with the farm first, and later built the restaurant. Although the space isn’t that large, it’s enough to grow the vegetables they need. They have a variety of vegetables that are used in their dishes.
The farm-to-table concept is really nice because it helps reduce kitchen expenses, and at the same time, the ingredients are fresh and chemical-free.

They also have a hydroponic garden where they grow lettuce. However, when we visited, there was a “No Entry” sign, so we weren’t able to see the actual lettuce inside. Still, they had some lettuce on display in front of the tower, and you can also buy it there.

The surroundings of the restaurant are very clean. Customers can choose to dine either outdoors or inside the tower.

This place is really nice with fresh air and a relaxing ambiance. What makes it even more special is that the Antara Condominium adds to the overall charm, giving Tower Garden an even better view.

This restaurant serves Filipino cuisine. Since it was just me and my sister, we only ordered a few dishes, sinuglaw, lumpia shanghai, and crispy pata. We also had lemonade.

After our meal, we climbed up the stairs because we also wanted to see the view from above and it was definitely worth it.

We really enjoyed our visit to Tower Garden Restaurant in Talisay. Although the food took a bit of time to be served because they had a lot of customers at that time, it was still okay. While chatting with my sister, we were also entertained by the beautiful view, so the wait didn’t feel long at all.

Overall, our visit to Tower Garden Restaurant was a simple yet memorable experience. From the fresh farm-to-table concept to the relaxing ambiance and scenic views, it’s truly a place worth visiting whether you’re looking to enjoy good food or just unwind and appreciate nature.

Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!
